UAV Navigation can deliver a cutting edge Flight Control Option (FCS) in the shortest period of time. The following is a real customer situation.
Elytron Aeronautica, one of UAV Navigation’s most recent clients, bought a full FCS, and it has undergone the standard of UAV Navigation’s adaptation and integration procedure on its own Talisman UAV.
Both adaptation and integration were performed on site in Italy by both UAV Navigation engineers in less than two weeks (9 operating days).
As a result, two Talisman components now have the UAV Navigation FCS completely integrated and corrected, turning a well-designed, fixed-wing platform right into a UAV. The aircraft is currently completely capable of flying autonomously, including automatic take-off and landing.
The Talisman UAV is a non-conventional aircraft that includes a tandem wing arrangement. The key characteristics are:
- Really stable and safe behavior under all flight requirements.
- Very significant MTOW if in comparison with the empty weight (it may carry on board 2.4 times its empty weight in payload and gas ).
