Hybrid Project LLC and Lucint Systems Test Fly Large Area Mapping UAV

Hybrid Project LLC along with Lucint Systems, Inc. are pleased to announce the effective test flying and excellent data gathering capabilities of a HP2 airframe carrying a Lucint12 Vision camera.

Over multiple flights, the aircraft/sensor mix constantly dipped 400 acres (1.6 km²-RRB- in approximately 20 minutes, with 1 in (2.5 cm) resolution, while remaining under the 400 ft AGL altitude limit in america. This powerful package is capable of distributing 2,000 acres (8 km²-RRB- a hour.

The HP2’s VTOL capabilities and hybrid energy plant with on-board engine starter and generator allows the aircraft to launch from nearly anywhere and fly up to 6 hours to its 1 gallon gasoline tank. Flight batteries have been recharged and kept topped off throughout the flight. Upon landing the only needs is a fast refuel with pre-mixed gas, and it is ready for a different mission.

The Lucint12 Vision camera frees Micro Four Thirds lenses with a vast choice of focal lengths, thus higher resolutions, or more efficient mapping, can be reached by simply adjusting lenses and reprogramming the flight program. As much as a terabyte of internal storage and built-in picture processing permits the camera to manage data in this HP2’s complete flight endurance.

“Our relatively speedy UAV works best with a with a camera that can capture images quickly to prevent overtraining, but also lets enough light in to keep the proper exposure. ” stated Ryan Pope of ldquo & Hybrid Project; It also requires the ability to process the images and onboard storage to accommodate our 5 hour flight capacity. The Lucint12 Vision Camera will so and more. We don’t even know of another UAV firm that could offer similar mapping performance for the cost and are excited to find out how this package can reap the business. ”

Lucint Systems will introduce a multispectral sole camera device at 2019, further raising the mapping abilities of the HP2.

The HP2 UAV and the Lucint12 Vision camera are now available for purchase today. Please visit www.hybridproject.com and www.lucintsystems.com to Learn More or to contact a representative in company.
