Hybrid Project LLC along with Lucint Systems, Inc. are pleased to announce the effective test flying and excellent data gathering capabilities of a HP2 airframe carrying a Lucint12 Vision camera.
Over multiple flights, the aircraft/sensor mix constantly dipped 400 acres (1.6 km²-RRB- in approximately 20 minutes, with 1 in (2.5 cm) resolution, while remaining under the 400 ft AGL altitude limit in america. This powerful package is capable of distributing 2,000 acres (8 km²-RRB- a hour.
The HP2’s VTOL capabilities and hybrid energy plant with on-board engine starter and generator allows the aircraft to launch from nearly anywhere and fly up to 6 hours to its 1 gallon gasoline tank. Flight batteries have been recharged and kept topped off throughout the flight. Upon landing the only needs is a fast refuel with pre-mixed gas, and it is ready for a different mission.
The Lucint12 Vision camera frees Micro Four Thirds lenses with a vast choice of focal lengths, thus higher resolutions, or more efficient mapping, can be reached by simply adjusting lenses and reprogramming the flight program. As much as a terabyte of internal storage and built-in picture processing permits the camera to manage data in this HP2’s complete flight endurance.

Lucint Systems will introduce a multispectral sole camera device at 2019, further raising the mapping abilities of the HP2.

On November 1st 2018, Pix4D opens a new R&D workplace in Madrid. It is rsquo & the Organization;s fifth office following Berlin, San Francisco, Shanghai and Lausanne.
For a centre of innovation, development and research, Pix4D Madrid will continue to enlarge and develop Pix4D’s knowledge of photogrammetry and machine learning, with the objective of creating a totally new alternative for the expert drone marketplace.
Madrid is Europe’so door to Latin America, an important and growing market for Pix4D. Alexis Castilla Hernandez, Head of Product Management at the Madrid office, and a long-time Pix4D employee notes that the location is perfect for creation: “Madrid is a centre of R&D, because of its universities. It’s a city, which is terrific for Pix4D as we have culture and a staff. As a bonus, the social life possibilities in the city are awesome! ”
